Sunday mornings at 10am, we gather together to fellowship with each other, to listen and study God’s Word from the Bible, and, primarily, to glorify Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Our service begins with everyone saying hello and getting settled while an opening worship song is played. We then join all of our voices in several songs, the styles of which range from contemporary to traditional.
Afterwards, we open God’s Word and listen to a message that helps us understand how Jesus calls us to be faithful to Him. Children ages 4-7 are invited to go to a special worship time if they would like.
The service ends with prayer, another song, the reciting of the Apostle’s Creed, and a parting blessing and song.
The Caledonia Gathering believes that our Sunday Gathering is the largest expression of our House Gatherings, which are smaller groups of people and families that regularly get together to fellowship, read God’s Word, and pray.
It’s a beautiful gift to see the whole family together, and we believe that all who call upon the name of Jesus for saving faith are invited into that family.
Come and join us!
Sometimes kids need their worship space too! While we always invite children to remain in the main worship space during the Sunday Gatherings, we also provide a dedicated worship time for children ages 4 up to 3rd grade. During this dedicated worship, the kids learn about Jesus while reading the Bible, making a craft, and doing an activity.
Nursery is also provided during the entire Sunday service for children ages 0 to 3.
Mentor tables are designated tables for 4th-5th graders, middle schoolers, and high schoolers to belong during the Sunday service. Each table looks a little different, but the main goal is to help kids transition from children’s ministry to full fellowship. An adult mentor is present at each table to build relationships and shepherd their table. We want to make sure all kids feel like they matter and that Jesus loves them.
Kids can choose to sit at a mentor table or with their families.
